  I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The management and staff are TERRIBLE. First, I had to pay rent late one month because I was going through a nasty custody battle. I assured them I would pay rent and instead of talking to me about it.. They called my mother who is listed as an ermergency contact for me and told her my rent was late and tried to receive payment from her. SHE IS NOT ON THE LEASE. I’m an adult, I’m on the lease BY MYSELF and they called my emergency contact?! Is that even legal?? I lived there for a year and ended up pregnant towards the end of my lease. I wanted to transfer to a bigger unit when my lease was up. I was told that I could only do so if I re applied for the apartment I wanted. I recently went through a “common law divorce” and my ex did everything he could to screw me over... including not paying bills that were in both of our names so my credit got screwed over. Erin told me that she knew how she could transfer me units without my credit having to be ran. You would think after a year of me living there my credit shouldn’t matter if all I wanted to do was transfer units... I could stay in my same unit, but if I wanted to transfer then my credit had to be ran. Anyways... days went by and I asked the office if my transfer was complete because my lease was nearing the end. The guy in the office (new at the time) told me the only was to transfer was to re apply and run a credit check. I was left SCRAMBLING to find a place to live within TWO WEEKS with bad credit. Once I moved out they tried charging me $1700 in damage fees. I have pictures of the apartment and it was in GREAT condition. They refused to walk through the apartment with me but kept telling me that’s what I owed. I NEVER got a detailed list of what was wrong with the apartment.. just that I owed $1700. After deciding to suck it up and pay it so another thing didn’t hit my credit they REFUSED to take a payment plan. They said I had to pay it in full or I could wait until it hit collections. Seriously?!?! I offer to pay the money I don’t even really owe you because you couldn’t even send me a list of what was wrong with the apartment and then you refuse to take a payment plan? This place is a JOKE.

  My fiance and I were faced with finding an apartment without having the ability to take a tour, and thank goodness someone recommended Dove Valley to us! We have lived here for 2 months and have loved every bit of it so far. The staff are so friendly, professional and accommodating. Andi, Erin and Hunter have made our transition from out of state so much easier. Aside from the staff, the facility itself has awesome perks. Having 2 dogs, it was really important to us that the complex we chose had a dog park. Not only does Dove Valley have a great gravel dog park and dog wash station, it has a big piece of land that is attached to the dog park for us to use! Overall it's been such a great experience, and I would highly recommend living here :)
